Hands down the most unique one we’ve made.  Extended and Shallow with a huge hip and lower butt.  He’s got the Money Maker shape and look, with more hip, lower butt and fuzz.  More importantly his momma’s ewe line is one we count on everytime they lay down, and they never let us down.  We are really excited about this one and bred him hard.  We will have 9 full sibs hitting the ground in February!!!

Full brother to Silva, Reckless continues the impressive line of stud rams Bott 501 has churned out.  Reckless has the same wild bone and muscle shape as his brother while being more refined through his shoulder and chest.  We feel this addition to our stud ram battery will compliment Strategy and Silva and we can’t wait to get some babies on the ground!!!  Reckless is bred to 25 ewe lambs for late February and March lambs.

This guy had a rough start and broke his front leg early, but we always had it in the back of our minds to keep him.  Same hip and butt shape the Reckless’ are known for with a rounder body and better look from the side.  We bred him to a few old ewes early and will have quite a few out of him in the march, april and may sets.

We expect this one to incorporate the Money Maker rib cage and rack shape in a more moderate softer package.  As his name implies he’s not as “trendy” as some but simply put he’s just good stock.  Sound, good bodied, with muscle, coupled with his maternal lines ability to consistently produce our best year in and year out make this one a genetic piece that has a bright spot in our program.

Forever X Wanted (Cabaniss Century bred)

We lost this guy this fall before we got a picture of him but he was kept as Forever’s replacement.  Crazy bone and shag along with a killer show sheep look should make The Grizz’s offspring highly sought after when they hit the ground.

Eskimo Joe X MacLennan

We went through Joe and Megans and looked at the late babies on the way back from the Corp/ Divas weekend.  When we saw this one we new he was an outcross worth getting a piece of.  Yes, he’s super trendy, moderate, boxy, and shaggy as all get out, but what I love about him is the ability to incorporate all those traits on a skeleton that’s made right, with a great hind leg set and angle to his shoulder.  We think he’s really special and bred him to an outstanding set of Money Maker ewe lambs. We will have 25 ewes lambing to Thug starting Feb. 15.

A son of the 2013 Man of the Year, Bulletproof, we think this guy back on the Bott ewes could be a home run!

Purchased at Sedalia by Hobbs' Show Lambs, this triple bred Cash ram lamb was one of our favorites when we visited the Cabaniss' Farm this spring.  He uniquely combines faultless structure and a beautiful silhouette, with hard muscle shape and an explosive pin set.  Special thanks to Joe Hobbs for allowing us to breed 20 ewes to this elite sire.
