Bleedin' Purple
(Silks Image Son X Fields Legend Ewe)
This ram has been the backbone of our flock since its inception. Without a doubt, he is the most prepotent
ram that we have ever come across. Due to our small flock size the past three years, he has sired less than 100 lambs
for us. Out of those 100 lambs, he has sired numerous champions and sale qualifiers at every level of competition all
over the country every year we have used him. We are very excited with our female purchases this spring and summer
and feel with the addition of nearly 60 females, the sky is the limit for this tremendous sire.
McGruff
(Bleedin' Purple X Garvie (Dakota))
RRNN
The keeper buck lamb from our 2005 lamb crop was kept to add a little more look without sacrificing
the Bleedin' Purple loin and hip shape. We have been very pleased with him so far. Mated to an extremely stout,
expressively muscled set of ewes from Brian Palmer, we look forward to seeing his progeny in 2007.
Joe Dirt
(Red Dirt X Ryder) raised by Ryan and Carrie Mortvedt
QRNS
We found this guy late this spring and thought he was the perfect sheep to compliment the Bleedin' Purple
and McGruff daughters in our flock. This blue, hamp-cross sheep we feel offers great versatility to sire champion
quality natural, hampshire, and crossbred classifying wethers.
Opportunity Knocks
(Toxic X Bases Loaded X Smokey) Raised by Donnie Begalka
RRNS
We'll be the first to admit buying a February 28th triplet in August was not part of our "master plan."
However, intrigued by this sheep's pedigree, we made a trip to Castlewood, South Dakota late this summer. We were not
disappointed!
This buck is super square, extremely expressive, and really cool on the profile. We felt this was THE buck
to take us to the next level. As the saying goes, "When opportunity knocks..."
